Mobile Streams, the global mobile services enabler and leading operator services provider, Musiwave (now a wholly owned subsidiary of the Microsoft Corporation), announced the expansion of their longstanding partnership to provide cutting-edge mobile music and entertainment content to more subscribers around the world.
The successful partnership between Musiwave and Mobile Streams dates back to 2006 when the companies began to offer top mobile music content to mobile subscribers in the UK. Today, the two companies have widened their distribution channels to include: Italy, Spain, France, Australia and New Zealand with more countries expected to launch over the next few months.
Operators signed up to Musiwave’s distribution service will be able to offer their subscribers content from the full Mobile Streams music catalogue which includes everything from true tones to ringback tones as well as the library’s hugely popular fun tones, film soundtracks and sound effects.
Recently, Mobile Streams has added its HBO catalogue to the Musiwave offering which includes content from top TV programmes such as Sex and The City, Entourage, Six Feet Under and Flight of the Concords.
Subscribers can also access a range of wallpapers from the catalogue to enhance their mobile phones based on a variety of themes such as: sport, cartoon, art & design and celebrity.
